Lost Continent IV Felted Fiber Wall Art

This abstact felted fiber work measures 12" W by 16"  H and is about 1" thick. This unique piece includes a bunch of different wool felts that I made by hand in a cacaphony of colors, plus some felted beads for interest.  Assembled with needle felting, it is then mounted (sewn) onto stretched canvas covered in grey upholstery chenille.
 
Comes ready to hang, with screw eyes and picture wire installed. Shown framed in the in situ photo, can be hung framed or not, frame not included.
 
My signature is on the back of the canvas, and I include a certificate of authenticity with your purchase.
 
Shipping and Returns
 
Once your purchase is complete, I will carefully pack and ship your new art.  All work sold during this special holiday drop will be shipped Priority Mail by Dec. 16th in order to arrive by Dec. 24th within the lower 48 US states. You will receive an email confirmation and tracking info when I have shipped your order. Shipping is free in the US. Rates to other destinations will be calculated at checkout, or email me with any questions if you need special shipping arrangements.

More About This Work
 
This colorful work is the fourth in a series of works inspired by the idea of imaginary lost continents. All of my work is intuitive, with the image forming and the idea emerging as I put colors and textures together. This piece features candy-colored mountains, craters, and lots of other features to give the continent a fanciful feel, with details that invite close inspection.
