Lost Continent V Felted Fiber Wall Art

Description
 
This abstact felted fiber work measures 12" W by 16"  H and is about 1" thick. This unique piece includes a bunch of different wool felts that I made by hand in a cacaphony of colors, plus some felted beads for interest.  Assembled with needle felting, it is then mounted (sewn) onto stretched canvas covered in grey upholstery chenille.
 
Comes ready to hang, with screw eyes and picture wire installed. Shown framed in the in situ photo, can be hung framed or not, frame not included.
 
My signature is on the back of the canvas, and I include a certificate of authenticity with your purchase.

More About This Work
 
This colorful work is the fifth in a series of works inspired by the idea of imaginary lost continents. All of my work is intuitive, with the image forming and the idea emerging as I put colors and textures together. This piece features candy-colored mountains, ridges, and lots of other features to give the continent a fanciful feel, with details that invite close inspection.
